This year marked the integration of the marketing and sales divisions of Apollo Chemicals, Inc. to Philusa operation. Apollo, another subsidiary company of the Mercury Group of Companies, Inc., was a chemical trader and manufacturer of chemical-based household products. The manufacturing operation of both Philusa and Apollo were spinned off and a separate corporation was formed under the name of Telstar Manufacturing Corporation to focus on manufacturing. Thus, a re-organization was effected by Philusa to focus its business operation on marketing and distribution. |
