Aside from the motorized Professional Field Representatives (PFRs) and a fleet of delivery panels, Philusa also maintains merchandisers who are responsible for assuring a good merchandising display of Philusa products and who are also tasked with preparing periodic inventories to guide PFRs in recommending orders to the purchasers. Each group of merchandisers is being handled by a coordinator. Promo girls are also deployed in key accounts to do in-store promotions for some selected products.
All branches are fully equipped with computers, which enable them to process all transactions speedily, and for Management to have an easy access to statistics and sales information and reports. Through computerization, it also implements the "address system" in inventory management and control.
Philusa also extends credit line and credit terms to its customers subject to the evaluation of the Regional Sales Managers and Finance and Administrative Manager and approval of the President.
As a general rule, Philusa follows the First in - First out method of serving stocks and as far as storage is concerned, stocks are arranged and stored in accordance with BFAD rules. |
